About Engroot

Who we are

Engineering rooted in expertise, making life better.

Engroot Consulting delivers engineering, consulting and project management to industries, utilities and municipalities across Canada and globally. From our base in Winnipeg, Manitoba, we support capital projects in agriculture and food processing, manufacturing, power, water, mining and clean energy.

We bring mechanical, materials, nanotechnology, nuclear and computer engineering together under one accountable team. Clients get the depth of a specialist firm with the coordination of a single point of contact, from feasibility and design through validation, professional sealing and on-site construction support.

Our purpose

To make the infrastructure and industry people depend on safer, more efficient and built to last.

Our vision

To be the engineering partner clients trust with their most complex projects, for decades rather than for a single job.

Our promise

One accountable team, honest reporting and work that holds up long after the drawings are sealed.

Our approach

Fewer handoffs. Clear ownership. Better outcomes.

Too many projects stall in the gaps between specialists, where a mechanical problem becomes a materials problem and then a controls problem, and no one owns the whole. We are organised to close those gaps.

Our engineers work across disciplines from day one, and our project managers stay on-site through commissioning and turnover. Most of our work comes from clients who have worked with us before.

Our values

What we don't negotiate on

01

Quality

Work is checked before it leaves. Rigorous QA is cheaper than rework, every single time.

02

Safety

Design decisions carry safety consequences years later. We treat them that way from day one.

03

Candour

Clear reporting, honest status, bad news early. Surprises are a failure of communication.

04

Relationships

We'd rather be your engineer for a decade than win one project on price.
